🎶 Hopkins Center for the Arts – HopStop Family Show: Mister Chris & Friends
Saturday, May 23rd | 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM⁠
Regional Emmy award winners and stars of Vermont PBS take to the stage in this fun family concert. Chris Dorman (Mister Chris) and his collaborators share classic and original kids’ songs. Sing, dance and clap along. This program is a great fit for ages 3-8 and families. Free Admission.

🦅 Vermont Institute of Natural Science – Ambassador Birthday Bash
Saturday, May 23rd | 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM⁠
Visit VINS this weekend to join in celebrating the birthdays of the institute’s Ambassador animals. Do you know how old the resident Snowy Owls are? What about the Wood Turtle? And how old is the oldest Northern Cardinal? Learn the stories of the VINS Ambassadors and how they continue to inspire people to care about nature. Included with a General Admission ticket.

🥧 Etna Library – Apple Pie Festival
Saturday, May 23rd | 1:00 – 2:30 PM⁠
Nothing is more American than apple pie, so join us at the Etna Library’s recently constructed gazebo as we host an Apple Pie Festival in celebration of the 250th birthday of the country! Enjoy samples of delicious pies baked by the community (and please consider bringing a pie to share with others, too)!

🎗️ Norwich, Vermont Memorial Day Parade
Sunday, May 24th | 12:00 – 1:30 PM⁠
The Norwich Memorial Day Parade starts at American Legion Post 8 at noon.
Stop to pay honors and give a gun salute at the bridge and Fairview Cemetery on Beaver Meadow Road. The parade ends at the Veterans Memorial at Tracy Hall for Memorial Day remembrance remarks given by Sarah Rooker. Everyone is invited to proceed to the Norwich Green for free hot dogs, drinks, and live patriotic music following the parade

🇺🇸 Memorial Muster Day
Monday, May 25th | 3:00 – 5:00 PM | Hanover Center Parade Ground
Hanover’s Memorial Muster Day has deep ties to history and the community. This will be the 65th Muster Day celebration and will include free burritos, cookies, and ice cream; music by the Lyme Town Band; and special speakers!
