A highlight of the Upper Valley’s spring event season, The Quechee Balloon Festival kicks off tomorrow with five launches scheduled throughout the weekend. In addition to tethered rides the festival offers crafts, food, musical performances, and frisbee dog demos. Over 80 vendors along with 15 food trucks and a beer and wine garden complete the party on the Quechee Village Green.
The weekend’s music includes performances by Ida Mae Specker, Prydein, Ali T, The Outcrops, and Mamadou, and comedy magician Robert Clarke performs at noon on Saturday. For the younger set, the popular Kids Zone will be sure to provide amusement. More info on the schedule of events can be found here.
