Why We Love Living in Hanover NH: A Vibrant College Town with Timeless Appeal

Life in Hanover, New Hampshire: Where Community Meets Culture

In June of 2015, our family moved from Norwich, Vermont to Hanover, NH — just four miles and one bridge away, but it felt like a whole new world. We had spent 10 wonderful years in the idyllic village of Norwich, but with one daughter graduating and another finishing her senior year at Hanover High School, it was time to downsize and embrace a new chapter.

Even within the close-knit Upper Valley, each town offers a unique energy. Our short move brought a surprising sense of renewal—life in Hanover felt fresh, vibrant, and full of possibility.
